Outstanding Performance by Darts Teams!

The Nelson Royal Canadian Legion Branch 51 darts team delivered an outstanding performance at the West Kootenay Legion Zone Darts Tournament held in Castlegar on February 1, earning top honours across multiple categories.

Branch 51’s Andy Jupp captured first place in the Singles competition, showcasing exceptional skill and focus throughout the tournament.

The Doubles title was also claimed by Branch 51, with Andy Jupp teaming up with Shawn Denny to take the win.

Capping off a dominant showing, Nelson Legion Branch 51 won Team Gold, with Andy Jupp, Shawn Denny, Bee Harris, and Tony Gower combining their talents to secure the championship.

Presenting the awards is Bob Brommeland, Zone Commander.

Thanks to their strong results, the Nelson Legion darts team will now advance to Provincials in March, where they will represent the West Kootenay Zone.
